Glenny’s Organic Food Review (7/10)

Before I start this review, let me disclose I was never a huge fan of organic food. I always thought it was a too much extra money, and usually a lack of taste, when (call me irresponsible) I was more then happy eating chemicals. But today I recieved a gift from Glenny’s who has a line of organic food, and I was excited to the type of food a second try.

Since this company has sent me more then most companies do, and there are a lot of things that have to be reviewed, I am going to cut this review short and just list the foods, along with their comments/ratings

Brown Rice Marshmallow Treats

Chocolate- 5/10; takes some getting used to, taste resembles play-doh

Creamy Vanilla- 8/10; a new spin on the classic vanilla marshmallow treats, must be what the “creamy” part is for

Peanut Butter Caramel- 5/10; the name builds you up for a certain taste, then the taste itself really lets you down

Raspberry Jubilee- 4/10; tastes a little sour, even bitter at one point.

Gluten Free Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal Raisin- 9/10; tasted better then some homemade ones even might

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip- 7/10; a surprisingly good new taste

Whole fruit/nut Bars

Cranberry and almond- 6/10; falls apart easily

Classic Fruit and Nut- 7/10; the taste of the nuts really stands out

Cherry and Almond- 8.5/10; tastes almost identical to a fruit-rollup

Soy Chips

There isn’t much to say about these, all of them matched the flavor pretty well and tasted pretty good. Not to mention that they are way better for you than the average potato chip.
